Dennis F. Reesman

Dennis F. Reesman, 61, of New Bethlehem, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

He was born January 22, 1953 in Kittanning, PA, the son of Wilson Reed Reesman and Bernice A. (Foster) Reesman.

Dennis was a lifelong resident of New Bethlehem and worked in the warehouse at Lowe's in Cranberry Twp. He was a member of Pine Creek Baptist Church and attended Concord Presbyterian Church while growing up. In his spare time Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing, but woodworking was his favorite hobby. He was a talented carpenter who made many beautiful baby cradles for family and friends. A motorcycle enthusiast, he had numerous motorcycles and many interesting pieces of memorabilia. Dennis' love of life was evident to all who knew him and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brothers, Larry R. Reesman and wife, Marilyn, of Lexington, KY, and Terry P. Reesman and wife, Debbie, of New Bethlehem; sisters, Beverly A. Crissman, of Kittanning, and Gail L. Metro and husband, Bill, of Whitesburg; nephews, Frank Reesman and wife, Vicki, of Buffalo, KY, Steven Reesman and wife, Carrie, of Lexington, KY, David K. Reesman, of Houston, TX, and Jason Metro, of Whitesburg; niece, Paula Fox and husband, Dana, of New Bethlehem; great-nephews, Michael J. Fox, David P. Reesman and Austin Reesman; great-nieces, Tiffany Smith and husband, Justin, Jenna Fox, Emily Fox and Morgan Reesman; and great-great-niece, Ariella Smith.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, William George Metro.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Concord Presbyterian Church, 576 SR 1037, Dayton, PA, with Pastor David D. Murphy officiating.
