Robert E. Stoker, Sr.

Robert E. Stoker, Sr., 74, of Elderton, PA, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home.

He was born February 10, 1941, in Indiana, PA, the son of Alvin and Pauline (Markle) Stoker.

Robert was born and raised in Indiana County but later moved to the Elderton area. He worked as a truck driver for Haliburton in Homer City. Hunting with his sons was one of his favorite pastimes and family was the most precious thing in his life. Robert will be best remembered for being a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Patricia (Puleo) Stoker, whom he married April 28, 1962; sons, Robert Stoker, Jr., of Elderton, Mark Stoker and wife, Patricia, of Shelocta, and Joseph Stoker and wife, Betty, of Colver; daughters, Pamela Daughenbaugh, of Duncansville, and Barbara Horel, of Homer City, and John Horel; grandchildren, Haley Fleming, Sydney Horel, Brody Stoker, Barbara Norton, Donnie Farster and Amy and Emily Rummel; and sister, Deborah Lynch and husband, Mark, of Armaugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Stoker.

At Robert's request, services will be private.
